Causal Inference

This course teaches the canonical research designs in causal inference:

  1. Introduction to Causal Inference based on DAGs
  2. Instrumental Variables
  3. Marginal Treatment Effects
  4. Regression Discontinuity
  5. Differences-in-Differences
  6. Synthetic Controls

The course is mainly based on Causal Inference: The Mixtape by Scott Cunningham and Mostly Harmless Econometrics by Josh Angrist and Steve Pischke. It also teaches some advanced material like regression kink designs or difference-in-differences with staggered adoption.
